Fibre Internet..

Went down.

Again, and again. And randomly again.

This is 2016, but everything feels like before millenium

When my family first had 56k dial-up, its slow as hell but it worked. No hiccups, no BS.

Just the expected ‘phone is down’ and interruption to Internet experience when someone decided to ring in.

Then moving on, we upgraded to ADSL. 256k. Again, blissfully smooth. Filter was introduced. And with positive experience, we upgraded to 512k.

Apart from the severe outage due to the Earthquake that broke underwater cables, nothing major happened.

Then thank God we felt good speed with 3mbps.

As we all know, they shifted further up.

Fibre was introduced, as well as 4G mobile internet, and that was when everything, literally everything, starts to f*cked up horribly.

They think we users are blind or selfish, but Ive noticed the issues.

You see, mobile signals started to f*ked up badly. In the past, being on 2G, yes those G or E notifications, the web still works.

Now, the newer modernized phones struggled badly on 2G, 3G or even 4G. They may blame it the apps all squeezing updates from the web, but nay..

While on the move, phone goes insanely crazy switching between the mobile standards. Battery drained like water. Speed is literally shit.

And 3rd Dec marked the shit the fibre Internet at home went down from 9am till the next day wee hours.

Not the first time it happened. When my family upgraded, within the first 7 days, it went down almost daily, and there was a full day outage when the main block system ‘light ray’ went down completely, affecting users.

So, is this 2016 or what?

2017 is right around the corner.

What do we expect? Or need to expect?

MORE OUTAGES OF COURSE! So seriously STFU on technological advancement and fix this reliability issues.

Not only is our transportation services are going down in standard, everything else does!
